About me
I’m a passionate and enthusiastic teacher with more than 12 years experience teaching foreign students from around the world. I started working with French and German students visiting the UK before joining English in Action in 2010 and then my adventures really started. I’ve spent the last 10 years teaching, travelling (and learning) in many different countries with children, teenagers and adults of all ages, backgrounds and cultures. In some schools I have worked with your teachers and delivered workshops to help them with the English lessons they give you.
I really enjoy doing exam preparation and business English courses to help older students focus on the specific techniques they need to achieve good grades but I am also happy teaching general English, grammar topics and British Culture or working with students on their general fluency, pronunciation and vocabulary. I have also designed and delivered journalism and writing workshops and lessons bringing my previous varied experience as a journalist into the classroom
About my sessions
The most important thing for me is that students are happy with their learning. It is all about the individual and what helps them achieve what they need to. Everyone is different so individual learning is a great way to focus on what YOU really need from your sessions. It’s all about building confidence and helping you make the most of your ability.
